Milto Miltiadou is a research fellow at the Remote Sensing and Geo-environment Lab at the Cyprus University of Technology. She graduated from the department of Computer Science at University of Bristol, UK, and she specialised in Computer Vision and Graphics during her master degree at Bournemouth University, UK, where she graduated with distinction. Then, she was awarded a full studentship from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) for the degree of doctor of Engineering (EngD). She has recently submitted her EngD thesis, which was completed with University of Bath, UK, and the NERC Airborne Research Facility, UK. Her research specialises in efficient accumulation, analysis and visualisation of full-waveform (FW) LiDAR data in a volumetric representation with applications to forestry.
During the SEO-DRAWF project, she works on implementing remote sensing algorithm using Sentinel data.
