Christiana Papoutsa

I received my BSc in Chemistry and I obtained an MSc in the field of “Environmental Chemistry and Technology” both at the Department of Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. I received my PhD in Water Spectroscopy and Remote Sensing for monitoring water quality over surface water bodies (inland & coastal) from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). I am currently working at the position of Research Associate of the Eratosthenes Research Centre, in the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics of the CUT and participated in many research programs at national and European level. My research interests mainly focused in the field of water resources management such as monitoring water quality parameters (such as turbidity, Secchi Disk Depth and chlorophyll-a) over inland and coastal bodies, using both remote sensing and field spectroradiometric data. My contribution to the SEO-DWARF project is to support the preparation of the report on the end-users requirements and needs as well as the development of a questionnaire aiming to examine the end-users’ requirements and needs.
