Olivier Regniers

I studied agriculture engineering at the University of Louvain and did a master degree in image processing and remote sensing at the University of Bordeaux with a main interest on forest management using high resolution satellite data. During my PhD in image processing, I focused on texture analysis and object based image analysis to detect patterns in the image in order to classify specific soil occupations (vineyards, oyster beds and maritime pin forests). My work at I-SEA as an image processing engineer consists in contributing to the development and further automation of image processing chains for the production of bathymetry maps, coastal habitats maps and the monitoring of water quality using remote sensing data.

My contribution to the SEO-DWARF project is to help with the definition of end-users requirements and with the development of image processing chains.
